From Oktoberfest to the Northern Cold of Scandinavia through the Crazy Abyss of Tokyo to the melting Pot of London...

For the past two decades I´ve had the incredible luck of making the world my home, thanks to the company I work for.

The places I visited and the cultures and people I encountered definitely sparked my creativity. Around 10 years ago I first picked up a canon camera to capture them.

Especially, during my five years in Tokyo I have met so many guys from around Asia (and the world). It´s mindboggling! It was in Tokyo, where I created the name for my photostudio "Gojiraphotos" and got my nickname "Papagojira".

Despite frequent language barriers, photography is a visual medium that doesn't require words. Just point, pose, shoot and together we create - without words - a cool photo, a fun picture, a crazy look or "art".

One of my greatest joys of taking pictures of people is getting some insights into different cultures and lifestyles. And sometimes even making friends with people from far away places I would have otherwise never met.
